About Tara Gibson
Tara Gibson, known to many as "Coach T," is an educator, community advocate, and leader with over 15 years of experience in public schools and higher education. A proud University of Central Florida graduate, Tara has spent her career supporting students, teachers, and families.
Experience That Matters
Tara bridges the gap between high school and higher education. She works with students in dual enrollment programs, helping them earn college credits while completing their high school diplomas. Her experience includes:

Academic Leadership: Academic Coach, Outreach Advisor, and Academic Advisor.

Teaching and Coaching: Over a decade teaching and coaching in Florida, the NBA G-League, and internationally with NBA India.

Community Impact: Founded a nonprofit in 2020 serving over 3,000 North Brevard residents through programs, workshops, and partnerships.
Community Roots
Tara has deep ties to the community she serves, volunteering with the YMCA, Boys and Girls Club, Hummingbird Food Pantry, and collaborating with the Titusville Fire Department for elementary read-ins.
