“Tara Gibson was introduced to me after my final collegiate football game in 2006 during a Fellowship of Christian Athletes meeting at the University of West Georgia. I had become friends with Rita G., a member of the women’s basketball team at UWG, and Rita connected us because she was being mentored by Tara. At that point in my life, I truly did not know which direction to go, and I wasn’t sure if I had played my last game. Even though I didn’t have the money to hire an agent, Tara chose to invest in me and help me “level up” with professionalism—starting with a professional email, guidance on business cards, and the idea to get my workout materials in front of teams and coaches.
